Sportsbook Rating

Only ACCEPTED Sportsbook partner events from VERIFIED/UNVERIFIED partners, resolved to a linked WSTF player, with a canonical result (WON/LOST/VOID/CANCELLED) and total coupon odds >= 1.01. HELD, REJECTED and non-Sportsbook events are never scored.

PREGAME and LIVE Sportsbook events are independent datasets with their own maturity, statistics and ranks. Sportsbook Overall is the exact sum of Pregame + Live (no mixing with Arena / Challenge / Strike5 / WSTF Overall).

SUCCESS = WON / (WON + LOST) × 100. VOID / CANCELLED / PENDING coupons are excluded from the denominator; a player with 0 settled coupons shows N/A, never 0%.

Every coupon is classified by its total odds into one of 14 difficulty tiers (MINIMAL → GOLD). Difficulty describes the coupon, not the player; low tiers are not failure states.

WON coupons: +10 × (min(TOTAL_ODDS, 20.00) − 1). LOST coupons: a Decimal-exact piecewise-linear curve anchored at (1.01, −150) · (1.10, −100) · (1.20, −35) · (1.50, −15) · (1.70, −12) · (2.00, −10); losses at ≥ 2.00 are flat −10. VOID/CANCELLED coupons are always 0 points.

To prevent single lottery coupons from dominating, points are computed on min(odds, 20.00). The actual odds are always stored and displayed on the Passport (e.g. a +47.50 GOLD winner shows 47.50, not 20.00).

CONFIDENCE = SETTLED / (SETTLED + 20). Small samples contribute less to the rating regardless of success rate.

RAW = 1500 + 2 × PERFORMANCE/100 × CONFIDENCE, where PERFORMANCE/100 = (POINTS / SETTLED) × 100.

0–4 settled: NEW (preview only, not on the leaderboard). 5–14: PROVISIONAL (rating clamped to 1300–1700). 15–29: RANKED (clamped 1200–1900). 30+: ESTABLISHED (no cap). Pregame, Live and Overall each have their own maturity.

The engine never reads stake, turnover, deposits, withdrawals, wallet balance or any monetary field. Two players with identical results and different stakes have identical ratings. Sportsbook Rating is NOT ROI.

Zero points, excluded from WON/LOST, from success-rate denominator and from average odds.
